I may not have known Angie as long as some of the other teachers, but from the moment I met her, she made an unforgettable impression!

When Angie first started teaching at my school, it felt like Sonic the Hedgehog had zipped into the building—fast, energetic, and unstoppable! She was a whirlwind of creativity, overflowing with ideas and moving from one to the next so quickly it was hard to keep up.

As the school year unfolded, I quickly saw how all that energy paid off. Angie’s ideas weren’t just fun—they worked. The kids responded to her in the best way: with excitement, curiosity, and joy. They couldn’t wait for her projects, loved meeting her class pets, and thrived in her carefully designed classroom where every corner offered something new to explore.

But Angie’s classroom wasn’t just about fun. Her students respected her because she paired high expectations with all that energy. They knew the rules, they knew she meant business, and they rose to meet her standards. To this day, I’m still amazed when I see her line up a whole group of 5th graders right outside my door so quietly that I barely know they’re there!

One of the kids’ absolute favorite parts of her class? The moment she puts on her lab coat. That’s when everyone knows something amazing is about to happen. Whether it’s a hands-on experiment or a fascinating demonstration, Angie makes science come alive.

Now, she’s bringing that same spark and passion to her new Outschool classes—and I couldn’t be more excited to see what she’ll do next!
